Common Questions
Do I need experience to rent?

Basic familiarity is expected. We'll do a quick walkthrough at pickup. For drones, you're responsible for following FAA regulations at all times.
How does the security deposit work?
+
Deposit is collected at pickup — cash or card hold. Released the same day gear is returned in original condition. Damage means deposit goes toward repair or replacement.
Can I get gear the same day?
+
Yes — same-day is possible depending on availability. Text us directly for the fastest response. The earlier in the day, the better.
What if something gets damaged?
+
You're 100% liable for any damage or loss per the signed waiver. Report it immediately — concealing damage makes it worse. Replacement costs are on the website.
Can I rent the body and lens at the same time?
+
Yes — just check both items on the booking form. Each is priced separately so you only pay for what you actually need.
What payment methods do you accept?

Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Payment is due at pickup. Cards can be held for deposit but we don't charge rental fees to cards directly.
Is delivery available?
+
Yes, throughout Miami. Delivery fee varies by distance and will be confirmed with you via text before anything is confirmed. Price may change depending on delivery location.
What's the cancellation policy?

48+ hours notice: full deposit refund. Within 48 hours: 50% of rental fee is kept. No-show: full rental fee charged and deposit forfeited.

1. Full Financial Liability — Absolute & Unconditional
THE RENTER ASSUMES 100% COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL FINANCIAL LIABILITY for all rented equipment from moment of pickup until confirmed return. In the event of any damage, loss, theft, destruction, or malfunction caused by misuse, negligence, or accident, the renter is solely and personally responsible for the full replacement cost at current retail market value. MiaLuxMedia, its owner(s), and any affiliated parties accept ZERO LIABILITY of any kind, under any circumstance, without exception.
2. Equipment Replacement Values & Deposits
See selected equipment above — replacement values and deposit amounts listed on the MiaLuxMedia website.
Renter agrees to pay the full replacement cost within 72 hours of damage or loss being confirmed. Failure to pay will result in collections or legal action at MiaLuxMedia's sole discretion.
3. Mandatory Security Deposit
A security deposit is required before any equipment is released — no exceptions. Amount per item listed on website. Held as credit card authorization or cash. Returned in full upon confirmed return in original condition. May be forfeited for damage, loss, or late fees.
4. Renter Responsibilities
Equipment returned by agreed time in identical condition as received.
Equipment may not be loaned, subleased, or used by anyone other than the renter.
Protect equipment from water, heat, impact, and unsafe storage at all times.
Late returns charged at 1.5× applicable daily rate per additional day.
Any damage must be reported immediately. Concealment is breach and grounds for full replacement plus legal action.
5. Drone Operation (If Applicable)
Renter must comply with all FAA regulations and local ordinances at all times.
MiaLuxMedia is not responsible for FAA violations, fines, or accidents during drone operation.
Renter assumes full liability for property damage, injury, or third-party claims from drone use.
Drone must not be flown over crowds, restricted airspace, or in unsafe conditions.
6. Zero Liability of Owner — Absolute
MiaLuxMedia accepts ZERO LIABILITY whatsoever for: (a) injuries, accidents, or third-party claims from renter's use; (b) lost business or consequential damages from equipment performance; (c) fines or legal penalties incurred during use; (d) personal injury during pickup, delivery, or operation. The renter assumes all risk, in full, without exception.
7. Payment & Cancellation
Full payment due at pickup via Zelle, Venmo, or cash.
Delivery fee confirmed via text and due at pickup/delivery.
Cancellation 48+ hours: full deposit refund.
Cancellation within 48 hours: 50% of rental fee non-refundable.
No-show: full rental fee charged, deposit forfeited.
8. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the State of Florida. All disputes resolved exclusively in Miami-Dade County. Renter waives jury trial for any disputes arising from this agreement.
